The company, Suncast, participated in one of the most important exhibitions and congresses in Europe, which hosted its second edition in Chile. Authorities such as the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, and the Minister of Energy, Diego Pardow, were present at the event.
Hyvolution 2024, the largest exhibition of the green-hydrogen industry, held its second edition in Chile from the 03rd to 05th of September and brought together 100 companies from 15 countries. The President of the Republic of Chile, Gabriel Boric Font, and the Chilean Minister of Energy, Diego Pardow, also participated in the event.
The National President held the opening ceremony during the speech, he emphasized the acceleration of projects that will allow the achievement of the decarbonisation goals: "We should not only think about the 2030 projects; for a project to succeed in 2030, many things must be done in 2024".
The incorporation of renewable energies to green hydrogen in Chile
Suncast, a company that applies artificial intelligence to renewable energies, was an exhibitor at the international green hydrogen exposition, Pedro Correa, their CTO, provided his expertise, highlighting that one of the main challenges of the hydrogen industry: “It is the efficient integration of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind energy".
“It is crucial to develop smart technology that allows the uncertainty associated with the variable renewable energy production, achieving a safe and cost-efficient integration of hydrogen production,” he added.
The Chilean company remains at the forefront of updating its systems an approach that has led to significant growth, providing services to 3,000 MW of national renewable energy installed capacity, contributing to the worldwide decarbonization goal.
A point that, according to Pedro Correa, has made them the ideal partner for companies seeking a combination of “precision and automation”.
As a part of the call for technological leverage, Diego Pardow, the Minister of Energy, emphasized the role of experts driving the technology. "Technology developers are not only decreasing emissions, they are not simply changing the technology used in the industry, but they are improving the lives of Chilean citizens, particularly the youngest ones".
