The first Latin American Forum of Women Leaders in Energy was consolidated as a regional milestone. The gathering marked a crucial step for moving towards a fair, inclusive, and sustainable energy transition, promoting a message of female empowerment and security in the area.

“The energy industry is not only for engineers. A range of professionals and roles, such as journalists, designers, psychologists, technicians, analysts, among others, are needed. Sustainability and renewable energies are the future, and there’s a place for everyone”, she added, emphasizing the importance of the participation of all the sectors of the professional market to plow an increasingly inclusive and stable energy path.

On the other hand, Walk The Talk’s founder, Marta Alonso, explained that the purpose of this Forum is a part of a transmission chain that seeks to transform the industry from its roots, and she referred to Constanza Levicán’s testimony as a story that causes a change of switch in the industry.

“What motivated me to create Walk The Talk was identifying the urgent need for more women to be in places where the decisions taken matter. Since then, over 700 women have participated in our programs, and we continue to inspire many more. This doesn’t make sense if it isn’t a transmission chain", she said.

About Constanza’s participation, the person responsible for the gathering added: “Constanza inspires more and better each day. She is generous with her experience and understands that when exposure is reached, a responsibility is also acquired: for example”.
